The first edition of Diamond Innovation Connect is behind us, and what an inspiring day it was! Together with 20 SBD members, we visited the research center Flanders Make in Leuven, where we explored how insights from various disciplines could potentially be applied within the diamond sector.

We enjoyed captivating presentations on the general operations of Flanders Make, Training & Skills, Design Techniques, and Photonics. The tour of their impressive facilities also gave us a unique behind-the-scenes look. Naturally, there was plenty of opportunity to network and exchange ideas. Our heartfelt thanks go to Flanders Make for their warm welcome.
