Antwerp, 30 April 2024 - Today we are pleased to learn that the Royal Decree amending the Royal Decree of 17 April 1970 regarding the adoption of diamond industry workshops has been published in the Belgian Official Gazette. From now on, to obtain a recognized diamond workshop, only one usable diamond processing machine will need to be installed instead of a hundred sawing machines or five mills. SBD has been advocating since 2018 to adapt and relax the outdated Royal Decree to the high-tech reality.
